What are the benefits of marine collagen?
Marine collagen has a number of advantages over collagen from pigs (pocine), cattle (bovine) and other sources. Due to its low molecular weight and high bioavailability, it is easier for the body to absorb compared to collagen from other animals. In fact, studies indicate that the body absorbs collagen from fish up to 1.5 times better than from cattle.
Marine collagen is also better for the climate, as cattle and pig production generally emits more CO2. Our collagen is a surplus product from food production that would otherwise not be used.
