How long do I have to take collagen to see an effect?
A clinical trial with our collagen peptides (ECOllagen®) has shown results on the skin’s elasticity, firmness and glow after 12 weeks of daily use. That’s why we recommend that you take our collagen powder for a minimum of 3 months before judging the effect.
In general, research points to the fact that collagen supplements can have a beneficial effect on wrinkle depth, elasticity and glow. But further studies are still needed to be able to finally document the precise effect. Therefore, the exact effect will probably be different from person to person – and depends, among other things, on your age, diet and lifestyle.
The body needs collagen continuously to maintain the effect. If you stop taking collagen again, the effect will gradually diminish.
